  19.     A directory of other versions of EGttI, including an extended ASCII

  44.     The one you are probably looking for.  This is the basic Unix text file
  45.     version of BDGttI.  If you are using DOS this will probably work for
  46.     you too.  If you have line length problems, get the ZIP'd version below.

  49.     A ZIP'd-up DOS text version of EGttI.  Differs from netguide.eff only
  50.     in that each line ends with a cr/lf character pair, instead of just lf.
  51.     May make it easier to view it on a DOS system.  Intended mainly for 
  52.     BBS sysops, as the filename contains the current version number (eg.
  53.     version 3.0 will be netgd3_0.zip).  Feel free to post it on your BBS!

  90.       only old versions in formats that are no longer produced (e.g. because
  91.       the volunteer producing them has stopped doing so) are archived here.

  94. Split - Directory containing the ASCII text version split into small pieces.
  95.         This is used for mailing the guide from the netguide@eff.org infobot
  96.         (split so that it is not truncated by misbehaving mail gateways.) 
  97.         It is made publicly accessible for download as well, just in case
  98.         someone finds a use for it in this condition.

  104. bigdchap.zip - Similar to the contents of the Split directory - the Guide
  105.                split into parts.  In this case, the Guide is split by chapter
  106.                rather than specific-byte or -line chunks, and ZIP archived.
  107.                Of especial use for those creating their own misc. format
  108.                hypertexts, and for other special uses, as well as text 
  109.                editors/viewers limited to small files (not to mention
  110.                computers with low amounts of memory) since you don't have to
  111.                load the entire guide at once.

  154.              Setext browsing programs like EasyView that can treat it almost
  155.              like a hypertext document.

  158.              config file for the EasyView Mac Setext browser for use with
  159.              bdgtti.etx, above.  Of no use to DOS, Amiga, Unix, etc. users.
